Who you'd be working with
I'm Kaelen Jennings. I run development at North Star House in Grass Valley, where I moved our board, staff and volunteers onto a shared Slack workspace that's connected to Claude, so they can ask it questions in plain English.
I built our 101-page knowledge base and our donor database, and turned about 30 board meetings into notes anyone can search. I've used Claude Code, a version of Claude that can build small tools and do computer chores, nearly every day for more than a year.
You don't have to be a computer person. Most of the people I work with aren't.
